I heard that grenades give a diff type of XP. But last night when I became a nov commando I just recieved combat XP. Do I need to be higher up the tree to get the XP? I'm going to master commando I thought it used thrown weapons XP. Any assistance would be helpful.

Grenades have always given just combat xp. There is to my knowledge no such thing as thrown weapon xp and it is not required to master commando.

First of all, newbies are people who are new at something. N00bs are people who want to be able to instantly know everything, think everyone else's wrong, don't have any desire to learn more, and want everything done for them. N00bs usually speak in the language n00bish, basically a collection of the number 1, 3, and 7, the words OMG and LOL, and the punctuation "!".

Second, you probably read that petition to give grenades some type of weapon XP, but at the moment, no, they give combat XP.
