I for one while slightly annoyed at first after some clear headed thinking realized something. I know people who were in initial SWG beta way back when. The game was supposed to be out i think it was June or whatever. He said never no way and i believed him after watching him play and how buggy it was. The online sites said a date though and low and behold SWG was in stores on that date.

If the expansion hits the same way May is not far off. Falls into the movie release. Republic Comando is a hit and people are playing star wars and hyped about Star Wars. With the splitting of Dev teams things seem to be getting done alot quicker(maybe not better but quicker).

IMHO i think in may we will see the CURB and expansion hit and i think by mid April we could all be testing it or at worst late April for Beta 3 and public Testing on TC to follow.

As to what the expasion will entail no doubt a good place to look may be WoW. The devs obviously have copied some of the games ideas before and that is not a bad thing. The thing WoW is doing that will lose more of our players who left and came back is battlefields. The battlefields will be huge missions will be used to make it in depth and control will change sides. Defenses are supposed to need to be softened up through missions and doing quests to obtain different thingscould we see AT-AT for imps but need to do certing things first, shield gens for rebels if this were hoth. An endor battlefield were ewoks would help out rebels and imps could get some AT-STbackup.

I didn't read ANYTHING about battlefields in there. It just looks like a crappy way to let Jedi in space to wipe everyone out and a new planet. Oh, and a way to make it so that resource prices skyrocket (again...).

Nothing says the new fighter will be jedi only, my feeling is that the new fighter will be much like the spit fire. Looted schematic, all master boxes have it available. Probably same in function as the spitfire as well.

only way to do it. it would cause a huge conflageration if they made it jedi only, bh would all quite cus everyone got access to the spitfire when it was shown as only bh ship. make it excatly like the spitefire, lott parts/disks from tier 4 npc's or some long space quests just to get a ship that has a differant look.

For your reading, the expansion is released on May 5, 2005.
