I have a flamethrower made from 125+ tissues... now should I hope for a good speed or good damage slice?

did you use an imperial stock? what kind of blaster rifle barrel did you use? what's its stats now?

always speed!
some examples i know of
my baby i use came from the two made from this
both were 2.0 950 pre slice
mine got speed sliced down to 1.5 950
its bully twin got 2.0 1135 believe me that .5 makes a much bigger difference than 200 damage

Was it just really good krayt tissues you had it made with or how is it so fast?

Most people would say "Get a Speed Slice" but with that High end damage Tissue i would Wish for Damage slice.
Getting a 1400-1500 Damage flamer Could be a very nice thing once are Speed Tapes working again.
I myself have a 1383dam one at 4.4. Not realy worth the Weight in gold right now but once i can use my 25+ HWS tape or if they give us new tapes (We dont know yet)Then it will be like most profs were Damage is Key and Tape Speed is Millions Per point.
Just think of speed cap with that much damage,It just somthing to think about.
But a speed flamer is nice to have as well. dont get me wrong. I have Both and most commando do. Just with the kind of tissue you got your hands on and a good High Damage Slice would OWeN all. Just my 2Cents

Its good to have atleast 1 fast FT and 1 High Damabe one.
Since the damage of the FT is what matter when putting DOTs on things a 1500 damage FT can put on some SICK DOTs!!
Speed ones are mainly good when doing PvP or when soloing a tough MOB when you need to get a DOT on fast.
Damage ones are great when you have a tank with you and can put quality DOTs on at your leasure.
