Lately, I have been wanting to build a strong flamethrower for my character to use in combat. With the ADKs now ingame, I feel it is a good time to do so. I have managed to come across a sett of 11 base kryat tissue. My first question is is this enough for a flamethrower? Furthermore, what kind of stats will I see by using these? Should I look for better, or will these do? Also, what other items should I retrieve or ask for when producing the weapon?
Thanks for the help!

you need 5 tisses for 1 FT and 9 for 2
You should get an imperial stock from the imperial theam park.
You want low speed mainly on the tissues. (+100 damage is nothing compaired to -.9 speed )
Get a 12 point weapon smith
Boom great FT
Im sleepy so this post is gramaticaly poopy

With 11 tissues you have enough for 2 Flamers, with 2 power handlers left over.
A Flame Thrower takes 4 Adv. Blaster Power Handlers, one rifle barrel and a stock as an option.
But with 11 Tissues, even though they are base, would make most MWS's quite happy, since that is enough for making a Krayt enhanced T21. Its possible thata WS might (and I say might) trade you some higher damage tissues for those 11. An example might be if the WS has some +38, -0.38 tissuses or some +59, -0.59 tissues.
But my advice is to look around and talk to the different weaponsmiths. If your providing the tissues then you should not be paying an extremely high price to have the weapon built. Personally on a live server I wouldn't pay more than 20k for a krayt flamer when i'm providing the krayt tissues.

Hmm, I am a bit surprised someone is one starring me for asking a question like this, but oh well, doesn't really bother me.
Thanks to those who have given me some advice!

make sure the weapie uses reg balster rifle barrels, they are -.1 faster than the advanced ones, and your DPS goes up dramaticaly whith speed.

Hmm, could have been I mentioned the Anti-Decay kit and got someone who really hated them looking at the thread, but oh well, we are each entitled to our opinions.
Thanks again for everyone's help.

My friend, aeuralis, just had a FT made today. He is the aeuralis who is a member of your Commado community here on the forums. I hunted9 -.718 speed, 33 damage tissues for him yesterday, and we managed to get some Imp stocks. The resultant FT's were both 3.5 speed and900ish damage. Unfortunately, none were speed sliced... ARGHHH!!! A 3.5s, 1200 FT isn't all that bad...
It so happened that the weaponsmith, dxsquat, had 5 122 damage, -.780ish speed tissues. Ungodly stuff here.
He slapped an Imp stock on it and made a 3.4 speed, 1000 damage FT.... then we braced for it's slicing... 34% damage.
Speed woulda been better, but now my friend has a 3.4 speed, 1340 damage FT. This sucker is a monster!!!! I won't mention the pricetag on it.
Anyways, special thanks to dxsquat and Caqoshor of Bria. It was GREAT fun hunting for the tissues with the Krayt spawn ramped up, and it was quite a fun experience getting these very nice FT's made

It's really all about the speed slice, and that's all about luck. I'm hoping someday they'll allow smugglers to choose (maybe at a % penalty?) what kind of work they'll be doing on a weapon or armour. I have a nice, Krayted, FF-stocked flamer that got a damage slice and is relagated to backup duty. You want your flamer ultimately to be below 3.0 in speed. I make my own commando's grinding flamers without stocks in the hopes of getting a speed slice on ONE. The damage sliced ones go onto my vendor. My WS doesn't charge much more than 5K for building one if you bring the Krayt tissues. Free if you bring me more than the minimum amount of tissues required.
Other than the parts (for completeness, since nobody's mentioned them yet), you want the highest CD/OQ (50/50) Steel (130), Iron (70) and metal (15), and the highest OQ Liquid Petrochem Fuel (28) your server has to offer.

I picked up 10 tissues a few weeks ago that were 39 damage and -1.029 speed. Brought it to a friend and they used the Imp Stock and reg. barrels. Then took them to a smuggler and got them speed sliced. Not the best slices but ended up with a 2.3 speed mid 900 damage and a 2.5 speed mid 900 damage. I put an ADK on the 2.3 and have been having fun with overcharge shot 2. The 2.5 just hangs on the wall right now. How much you think it would go for?
