Well as a commando/tkm I first get fully buffed (including disease and poison res), then stack a few flames on and switch to TKM till the flame runs out.

Can kill them pritty good solo

Even the biggest ones

I dare not solo a krayt tho

Well I have never fought an Ancient Krayt... hell I haven't even seen one. But I am talking about on the Krayt side a Giant Canyon Krayt Dragon and for the Kimogilla side a Giant Dune Kimogilla. Look I know there is aHAM difference (Giant Canyon Krayt around 350k HAM and a Giant Dune Kimogilla around 90K HAM and Kimos also don't have heavy armor.) But think of it like this, A Giant Canyon Krayt, though may be fierce can be easily be defeated by two people if one of them tanks. A Giant Dune Kimogilla is a different story... I mean yeah the person can tank but the Giant Dunes have a little trick up their sleve and its an area attack that can disease. So what its just disease not too bad right? Wrong! I got diseased by one (oh and it almost always happens to be mind... yes my favorite! Maybe Kimogillas are really CMs in disguise). Well anyway this disease hits me.... in 5 min I have 1000 mind wounds and over 200 BF. And I was sitting down, imagine if I was still fighting that thing! It would have been a lot worse. My friend fought the Kimogilla with me last night and he had about 1500 health wounds, 1500 action wounds and 900 mind wounds just from disease, and like I said before these Kimogilla Giants are basicly immune to blaster fire.

Okay what does everyone think is harder? A Kimogilla or a Krayt Dragon? Most people think that a Krayt because of the HAM difference but being in the marksman profession I can say that Kimogilla's give me a lot harder time when I am fighting them. Us Commandos have real trouble because Kimogillas are highly resistant if not completly resistant to our weapons and to other marksman weaponry. Krayts... (well the ones I fight in a group, Giant Canyon Krayt Dragons are 70% to everything). And it doesn't stop there, Kimogillas can also give you a nasty posion and disease. So Im asking all those commandos and other marksmen, who gives you more trouble (while in a group hopefully),

I thought that you cannot have more wounds than what your natural HAM bars are, otherwise when your buffs wore off, you'd have negative HAM?

Not sure, haven't had a nasty disease on me in a while. They coulda changed that, perhaps?

i really dont understand where you are coming fmo in saying that a giant dune kimo gives you more trouble than a krayt. kimos are much easier to take down no matter what weapon im using. ive soloed a giant dune kimogila as a bh/pistoleer, it may have took me a while, but i did it. i could never dream of soloing a canyon krayt as a pistoleer. not only would it take me hours to do any damage to a krayt, but they hit for a lot of damage compared to a kimogila. so as a marksmen the kimo is way easier to deal damage too.

and if you have commando, then why would you even care what the resist are? just burn em to death with the flamer, resist wont hurt the flame dot. as long as ive had a tank with me, ive never came across anything that has given me trouble as a commando.

all i know is that if i have buffs (including disease and poison) and armor on is that i can take on a GDK solo. I am unable to take on krayts in groups of 2-3

I solo Giant Dune Kimogilas as a Rifleman/Commando pretty easy. Good buffs, 80% kinetic armour and making sure that you stick stun and inimidate at all times. I start it burning then switch to my T-21 and Strafe2 and FlushingShot2 to keep stun on. Switch back to the Flamethrower to light it up again. Having good buffs (including mind) is a must because the Plague Strike disease will tick for 200-400 and black bar your natural HAM in no time.

Krayts on the otherhand have way more HAM, armour and do much more damage. I can absorb the damage from a Kimogila with good buffs and armour if it is stunned and intimidated however a Krayt will wear me down fairly quickly. Melee professions are at a major advantage here because they have damage reduction in the form of Melee Mitagation and Melee Toughness. Soloing Krayts can be done but with help it goes much much quicker. My personal record it 12 minutes for a Krayt Ancient with 1 swordsman tanking and 1 rifleman helping me.

I have always had more trouble with Kimos, yea, they have lower HAM and lower resist, than krayts, but kraytsare predictable. Kimos attack anything that moves, including themselves it seems. Also kimos can regen health by eating other things. (I swear, I've seen there Ham jump after snacking on a squad of Darktroopers)

I completly agree with you! When ever I fight a Kimo I have no idea what to expect and yea heh they will attack anything that moves. If you are just walking by and like 4 people are fighting one then the kimo goes for you. And I think that area disease that the Giant Dunes have is like a 30 meter disease.... this has happened to me dozens of times. I would be walking by and then bam! It does that area disease and I have 900 Mind wounds and 740 Health and Action wounds.
