Get a knuckler sliced for speed if you can afford it, you'll not be able to fully use it but you want the quick attacks...then what you go for depends on you, meatlumps outside cities are good even unbuffed and unarmored, there's also quenker missions (NOT savage quenkers, they poison) on Dant while buffed and wearing decent ubese armor.
Same thing I did, as suggested in bunches of posts for going TKM
You might look there, too, as well as in the brawler forum. Widen your search for info, just 'cause you're going commando (like I am) doesn't mean you should look just here for your knowledge
Bigger nets catch more fish.

buffs / armor
speed sliced VK's
run a berzerk1 macro
kill everything around, say, mos entha / espa...will get you thru unarmed I fairly quick.
kill scyks (i think its what they are called) for unarmed II
bantha missions are probably the quickest for unarmed III-IV
Should take you a little more than 1 buff, if that
Just make sure you are grouped. Until you get unarmed III, use the berzerk1 macro. Once you get unarmed III, switch to /unarmedhit1

Speed sliced VK's are the way to go. You cannot do the full damage cause you're not certified. But you'll hit so many more times that it will increase the occurence of a hit. Essentially bypassing the lack of certification.

OK, easiest way I have found:
Supplies:
1) Speed Sliced VKs @ around 1.5 speed
2) 75% Ubese armor
3) Rakririan Burnout sauce (adds about +25 to your unarmed damage, this makes a huge difference)
4) Buffs... duh
Tactics:
1) Find a city on Dantooine with a mission terminal and a brawler trainer.
2) Group with your droid/pet, not a solo group! (for xp bonus) pull 1 Lesser Plains Bol mission (1200 credit payout). Use berserk and default attack, kill the first 5 and then the first 1 from the second spawn. This will max your xp. Delete the mission and get trained.
3) Pull 1 Quenker Mission (5300ish payout). Kill quenkers using UA hit 1, not berserk, with the burnout sauce your damage will be virtually the same and you will hit faster. As soon as you can get trained in UA 2 (should be 2 quenkers) go get trained, then return to the mission and continue on.
4) Keep pulling regular quenker missions until you reach UA 4. This should take about 1.5- 2 hours from novice to UA 4, give or take.
5) If you want to go to novice TKA, at UA 4 get into a solo group and pull more of the 5.3k quenker missions and spam UA spin 1. From novice brawler to Novice TKA is easily doable in under 3 hours.
Good luck.
PS If your character is a Trandoshan, you will go even faster on account of their natural UA damage bonus/speed/accuracy.
