Back three weeks ago maybe even 4 now I'm getting confused on time SOE Tyrant said in teh House of Commons chat they would be posting on the CU more details including the reason for the delay. The next week TH said that it would be coming out the following week which would have been last week. they ddin't say anything posted some wallpaer for the FF and the community exploded because nothing was said and not post. TH then replied it would be out "next week" which is this week.... so where is it?

Do you mean the Fencer FF? Personally, I think that should be a fencer standalone thing, not a FF. Or are you looking for the delayed post about the delayed post that was supposed to be the delay on the announcemnt of the delay of the CURB docs/FF? (head explodes)
Personally, IMHO, Tyrant is gone. Or will be gone very shortly. Usually, when rumors start about someone high up leaving the game, and they arent true, they get squashed pretty quickly. Especially by those that the rumor is supposed to be about. The fact that I know for fact that TH was questioned about it by a respected member of the CU community and was never answered or even acknowledged leads me to believe he's history....
I have always looked at Tyrant the way I look at a CFO that comes into a company in financial trouble. The CFO comes in, rocks the boat, trims the fat, makes no friends, then leaves to go to the next company in financial trouble. SWG was/is in scheduling trouble. Tyrant came in, rocked the boat, got things back on track and done, and is probably looking forward to his next challenge. I would be a bit surprised if these guys and gals didnt work on contract. His contract probably came up, didnt want to renew, and is looking elsewhere. They probably work on either 6 month or year contracts...Notice his join date? October of '03....October of 04 would be a year, March of 05 would be 1.5 years (or possibly 6 months into a new contract).
Either one really take your pick. But mainly the delayed post on the delay of the post of the delay to the CU or something like that. I wasn't looking for it in a FF I thought they would post it earlier in the week but they didn't so the last hope was it being the FF and it wasn't so I'm wondering where in the world it is? n Tyrnat maybe gone or may not at this point I'd say he is no one has seen him post anything so....... but I still don't know why that effects or doesn't this post taht was suppose to be made. I'm just wondering where is it? Did they need more time to code the post? or did th post need an extensive rewrite and be approved by Lucas Arts? I'm simply confused why its so hard to get this posted and if it is so hard why did they say they were going to post it if they didn't have the ability to do so? /sigh

He's posting. Just not where we can see it. Posted today as a matter of fact.
Given the announcment that:
1) Expansion due May 05
2) Beta for expansion AND CU are to done simultaneously (which is a bad idea)
IMHO, coding for the CU is done. Coding for the Expansion is done. TCAhazi was, in my mind, to test the servers the sandbox are to be loaded. But they screwed up by the frogs not being available, not to mention the /loot bug (where people were getting NPC weapons and stealing Jedi' sabers and whatnot), TCAhazi never got the stress on the servers they were looking for.
Since both at least 90 percent done, there really isnt need for someone like Tyrant. The rest is *ahem* semantics (i.e. bugs, testing, coding). Tyrants job is done.
LOL we got off on a side tangent here about Tyrant.... let's leave Tyrant alone for now.... where is the post?

personally the joining of both the expansion and the CU isn't terrible.
Just gives us new places and quests to test the combat in.
This would also explain the delay to the delay....etc... etc...
Getting both up to a point where they could be released together. :::shrug::::
