It's more of a continuation of something that's been going on in the Smuggler forum for awhile now...They are due up for a Revamp post CU, and the ideas are currently flowing...the Docs that Tiggs is referring to are just discussion related regarding possible new directions they are considering taking Smugglers and their abilities...As mentioned in a previous thread, their discussion will likley be of interest to us as the docs include some interesting changes regarding slicing, spices, etc...Also because some of us Commandos often dabble in Smuggler (more so in the Post CU environment).

Besides the over 1700 posts being bandied about since release date and the untold number of broken promises concering revamping theSmuggler profession....
There's a little more behind the release of the Smuggler documents than you might happen to think.
A certain un-named Smuggler got fed up and took some very direct action This isthe probable cause of the release.
Anyway if the proposed Commando changesallow us to be more of a Commando as the proposed Smuggler changes allow Smugglers to be SmugglersI can't wait.
The Smugglerswill be losing a complete set of skills. If Smuggler can loose a whole line why can't Commando.
Unarmed anyone??

Also remember...the changes to Commando is CU. The smuggler documents released today are not CU. Theres still that "CU Smuggler Doc", but thats under NDA. These two are to propose a new revamped system for smugglers, something that has long been promised...
The changes related to making commandos, exactly what they are, all fall under the CU. But, if we get specific documents on each profession that goes in depth on the systems (or a select few...such as commando's grenade redesign and how our weapons will work...then booyah for the Devs, as these systems we have yet to see....and most likely won't till testing)

Who said we wouldn't? A whole lotta stuff will be changing...prepared to be shocked a bit...

Now if I can only toss an imperial detonator into the eyehole of an AT-ST and get away I'd be happy.
