I just got commando on Starsider and I was playing around with the flame thrower and killed some durnis on corellia. I got 88 HW xp and 1 Combat XP (yes just ONE).

Is that a common issue or am I just unlucky?

Yes, I usually only get 1 combat xp. However, I usually get 113 hvy weaps xp off durni's and 321 off crazed durni's,not 88.

Congrats on being able to kill the Durnis.

The durni was also fighting a butterfly lol

It's a known bug with heavy weapons. Only get 1 combat exp. I believe there's a HW that gives more, but can't remember which one.

If all you're doing is fighting durnis, throw a grenade...then you'll get 2 combat xp!
