Why would a commando have the worst defensive mods of all of all the combat classes? Heck even a ranger has more defensive mods than us. I guess this class was thrown together with no thought process or developement. At least it seems that way.

Actually that would be the bounty hunter.. funny huh? You guys get some small bonuses to range and melee, and a +5 vs knockdown. As little as those may be, whats funny is a "bounty hunter" gets none at all

Well BH gets ranged defense +7 . Heh ok so commando's dont have the worst.

You could look at it one of3 ways.

1. We need lots more defensive mods then we do currently.

2. Considering that they are maiing the Launcher Pistol our primary weapon many will seek pistoleer to make us effective, giving you the pistoleers defense mods.

3.Our new Patched Commando weapons will counter with offense what we lack in defense.

I think its a natural balance considering our weapons will 'upset' numerous targets and cause a lot of damage eventually. As was mentioned above, we can spend our extra skill points elsewhere to giveourselves a fighting chance after we squirt a mob down with acid or flame..etc.

why care for defence ?

commando as they are now do absolutly NO dammage. why would any mob go for a non devestating person UNLESS hes the last mofo on earth .. my guess would be : the foo hit taunt button.

beside if you want some defence a bounty hunter dosent have :use heals we got enough for getting 4 4 0 4 in medic skill tree .. DONT underrestimate the power of a good heal .. ROFL.

yup they sure made a najs one there. forgetting our weapons. great way to nerf a class and next give a darn about who is whining . guess they will loose a few costumers on that account.
