Is anybody else ticked off that they can hotpatch any random lil' thing yet they refuse to hotpatch the pistol on over to hvy weapons xp so that all the commandos on the servers that have yet to get any hvy weapon other than the lp can actually advance??? cause welll this is really beginning to piss me off been a commando for 2-3weeks now... and i have jack for hvy weapons xp its getting old and fast!

Commando without a gun

Ever thought that maybe they don't want us training those skills for a reason? The pistol fix may have gone up over a week ago. Maybe they've changed their minds about the direction of the class, and haven't settled the issue.

with the pistol bandaidfix i could be master commando in a week but not sure if i want to spend anymore time on this proffession anymore. maybe ill wait tll i get a lvl or 2 in flame thrower to see if it still sucks

Well the price on a Flamethrower just whent up to 100k on starsider, the other charged weapons are about 15k each, nobody makes grenades. And thats what you have to pay for broken weapons.

ya i'm gnna give up commando - it's the most useless profession in the game and i'm pissed that i wasted my time to become a masterkarksmen to make it to commando to realize how horrible this profession is. Every single weapon we can use isn't available. Which means by design commandos are gated.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROFESSION!

So ya i'm gonna give up commando and most of my marksmen skills. probably keep pistol for a little while. But, i wanna wait until i get precision 1 for TKA. i'm afraid if i gave up my commando skill i'd lose all of my combat xp.

does anyone know if i'd get back my 40k of combat xp if i surrendered commando?

I think I can safely say, that being a commando, and posting in the official commando profession forum:

The better question would be is there anybody not ticked off?

And the answer is NO!!!

When you surrender points, you don't get back the exp used to spend them in the first place.

So, no. you won't get that 40k in combat exp back.
