Commando Archive

I am here, because honestly the Bounty Hunter population is too full, and it sickened me to hating them. Now I am split between Commando and Smuggler, going for Commando really. Now, I realize that the Commando profession is gimped, but when all is fixed and said and done, is it a good profession to be combat wise, not only hunting, or NPC fighting, but in PvP too?

Mainly I am asking, is will I be able to blow stuff up?

I spent the first few weeks after launch working towards the requirements for commando.... andafter a good month or so I finally made it. BIG MISTAKE, I completely regret it. By the time I made it, all my other friends who I regularly played with were off on remote worlds fighting things I couldn't even THINK about going near. It would take me almost a full minute to kill a creature with my flamethrower that my pistol could take out in one shot. Since then.. I completely gave up commando, and I'm glad I did. Should they ever fix it... I'll probably go back to it, but for now I'm not touching it.. and I don't reccommend anyone else does either. You WILL regret it when you find out that any marksman with a level 3 or 4 skill is superior to you in combat.

Although.. at the same time I'd like to thank all the poor souls that have stuck with commando throughout this entire time. If no one stayed a commando, the devs would probably have no reason to ever get tofixing it.. (if they ever actually do) so we need great martyrs such asall ofyou! I tip my hat to you, and hope that all your suffering will allow me to actually return to being a commando one of these days.
