hey all, i was wondering what the cap is on our speed mods post CU? So far i hear there is no cap, just each and every mod adds up and the higher you get the less it does. Is this correct? If so, when is it high enough to not really matter. I have over plus 60 in speed mods atm, just need to know what i exactly need to be in terms "speed capped" for commando, or as close as i can get. BTW, lol yes i am a noob commando of sorts, not a year long player like most of our diligent commando population who have had to put up with the devs messing with the profession for forever. But hey, im here now and i am looking forward to joining the community!

I loaded up +30 in heavy weapons speed tapes on TC-Bria a few days ago. The modified DPS on my flamer didnt

rise past the old cap at +25. So, it looks like bonuses from attachments are still capped at +25. Of

course, the other Test Centers could be behaving differently.

So, you are telling one of the more veteran (and respected) posters on this forum to shut up, and then ask for help?

I am very, very afraid we are going to see a lot more posts like this and like the thread about "jerk Commandos" coming real soon. We are no longer this "protected" little profession that only the proud and the pyro use. Basically safe in our world where no one really bothered us, we had few regular posters, but they almost all were mature and respectful. Now, we are going to have the forum floodgates open as tons of people start to use this great profession. It is going to get very crowded in here soon. Maybe not flavor of the month busy, but it is going to get ugly in here. Theold Commandosare going to get swamped with idiots very soon.

To be honest I blame Garvin and StarNick for this. They did too good of a job relating our needs to the Devs. Dammit you two, now our profession will be a lot of fun to play and all of these folks are gonna come pouring in here.

hahaha. well thats great stuff. Well sorrry Cpl_ i thought me and you had done business before on Valycn, must of gotten you mixed up with someone. If you know me, you know that i am actually extremely sarcastic and pretty much a guy that really doesnt care about anything. So when i posted that, i was totally joking about the whole thing, and in no way was i mad at all, or really telling you to shut up. That is the reason for the smile
