NOTE: These changes will not be visible until the next time the galaxy is converted
Item Conversion
- Modified the conversion values for speed and wound chance
- Changed the converted damage type on the following weapons from energy to kinetic:
- heavy rocket launcher, flechette pistol fwg5,launcher pistol, scatter pistol,strikerpistol, tangle rifle, bowcaster, spray stick, and tusken rifle
- Converted existing bowcasters to the heavy (assault) bowcaster rather than the novice level bowcaster
- Converted existing E11 carbines to the E11 Mark II carbine
Did I miss a memo, or does this imply something new coming out soon?

I sincerely hope so, as the crap we have now is only good for knocking people on there arse. "Extremely distructive" indeed.Pfft!

I wouldn't count on it that much, it says tangle rifle, when there only exist a tangle pistol.

New Weapons? Starnick did say we'd be getting a new LP... maybe they turned that into a launcher.

would make since since the current rocket launcher is innovice commando.Would be interesting to see the stats on it.

Helios dropped a hint awhile back that we might be seeing "more advanced" version of some of the weapons we already have...This could be one of those weapons (along the same lines of the FT and the Plasma FT).

Quote mentions both the heavy rocket launcher and heavy launcher pistol, so that ought to be cool. Assuming they get the rest of the CU fixed.

With them pushing the CU live now, when exactly would we expect to see such weapons? They haven't been tested or balanced if we haven't seen them yet. I hope these don't become myths like the "working" HAR was for 20 months.
