I am current working towards TK master and am thinking about a "next" profession and commando seems promising. As a TK i am great in PvE and crappy in PvP so here are a few question..

BTW I have no commando exp and am not very sure what this profession is like so plz be patient and give me as much info as you can. Also it maybe months before I actually start down this path. Thank you.

1. are commandos any good in PvP

2. Are commandos Ranged weapon users? Not sure what Heavy weapons are really.

3. do you think a TK master/Command Master be a good combo

4. What is the role of a commando in grps (damage vs crowd control)?

5. are the weapons of a Commando AoE or target specfic?

anything you care to add regarding this profession and combo

5. Neither, they are big noise makers, compensation for small "personal effects"

Completely agree with the first response.

Run away, run quickly. That's the commando motto at present.

I dont know about the others but the rocket launcher has an AOE of 6 meters, but all that does is aggro more mobs then yah want!!.........lol

The first advice I would give is to actually read the forum threads and see that all these questions and issues have been brought up many times and answered many times. I will repeat, but alter the first response to this question.

3. Yes (With the weapons we have now, everything is going to be getting into close combat.)

4. Nothing, a new title to show off while you use other professions' skills.

5. Target as of right now, and they don't even work doing that.

Read the rest of the threads and you'll see why Commando right now is a waste of 40k Combat XP.
