Well if you look at the proposed changes going in for the next significant patch we get NOTHING, unless you count the acid rifle cert and the fix to the beam gun, which should have been an easy fix in the first place done a long time ago. When you read the list of proposed changes our profession is the only one not listed with a set of changes, little disheartening. Perhaps SOE forgot there was a Commando proffesion.

Perhaps I was mistaken but I thought rocket launcher pistols were supposed to give HW experience, did they change their mind?

i dont recall any specific mentioning of what the fix would be, but it was stated that Launcher Pistol as it applies to Commando would be 'fixed' ... does that mean HW exp? ... i dont know

C'mon people! READ the rest of the forum threads... we talk about ALL of the points you've mentioned already.

Yes, it appears that only a few things are going to be fixed, but if yoiu looked further down the list of fixes you would notice that it says that they are upping the abilities of Commandos and BHs. So, Acid cert, and more powerful abilities... I'll take that over nothing any day.

Finally, we've all been saying over and over that the Launcher Pistol gives pistol XP. That's nothing new.

Sorry for my impatience, but I come to this forum to actually read new posts and new ideas for our non-working profession instead of 20-30 posts by people saying, "I'm Commando now, but it doesn't work!"

Perhaps you should re-read my post then, I amtalking aboutcurrent events not bitching about whats broken, simply stating we have no immediate relief. The incoming changes wont supply changes they have told us are coming. I could care less about special attacks doing better damage because I dont have any, I want the same ability to level as the other classes doing things that are fun not hunting crazed durnis over and over again. I wasnt asking if the Launcher pistol gives pistol exp I KNOW it does, I was asking when it would be moved to give HW exp which what we were told.

Yes, and if you read the other threads you would know more about they want to do to the profession. Plus, are you able to fully tell me what they areor are not going to fix by looking at a July 28th TC fix list? That's 9 days ago... things could have changed between now and then and i wouldn't even trust them to actuallyfully document it anyway.

No, this statement actually reads that you had no clue that the Launcher Pistol gave Pistol XP. Re-read it for yourself. If you meant differently, you should have said it differently.

Yes, I have re-readyour post again, and I have come to the same conclusion as before. If you wanted to get a different point across you needed to write it differently. Don't confuse my "lack of wit" with your inability to get your point across.

No ... that's how you read that statement.

Others, like the posters above, and myself, read it to mean in the second response to garibaldi, they SAID that Launcher Pistols should be fixed to give both pistol and heavy weapons XP. But, according to the upcoming changes, there's no mention of this. Hence why he wrote what he wrote.

Don't be such a nit-picker. Because eventually people will catch you not being completely clear or concise and then you'll look like an ass.

I actually read it the same as Sten. Apparently, I'm a jackass troll, too. Sometimes things don't come across the way they are intended to everyone. That's no reason to call them a "jackass troll" or call them witless. People think differently.

Personally, I consider the namecaller to be the troll of a forum. Ahh...but that's just my understanding of it.

A lot of these threads can be taken care of just by simply referring to the sticky threads.
