With every glimmer of hope, there's always a black vortex that shadows it and threatens to suck it down.

Devs have implemented new changes to the skill tree (so I've heard) and revamp to damage skills. Problem is that in order for those changes to officially be implemented on the live servers, there has to be commandoes to test them ON THE TEST CENTER. Kudos to those who decided to abandon their original character on their main server and grinding a new one on TC. Sadly, there's TOO FEW participants in the commando section that would speed up the feedback process and I sense no intention from SoE that they would boost Commando-wannabe testers to commando status for testing purposes.

Garibaldi has done his job and all he can do now is wait for response from the staff. So there is no point in badgering garabaldi to post every second to satiate our lust for some lovin'. He's said what needs to be said.Good job Gara.

Though, I must admit, my patience has worn down and I am literally on the brink of SEVERE boredom because I am unable to do anything else.

My frustration due to the lack of ability to hold my own in the xp grind is further enforced by malfunctioning NPC missions a ... I'd love to take a break from the game for a couple of weeks but I don't believe in throwing free money. So it'sa bit of a lose-lose situation...

Work on the rest of your design man. I haven't bortherd xp'n heavy weapons in 2 days just due to boredom/frustration been occupying my time running missions slowly building the rest of my commandope.

Hope the new specials will make it worthwhile and here's something that might cheer you up. My smith the other day stated that he thinks the flamer's on my server atm are only at 40% potential (all from the first metal spawn for the necessary resources) but this falls back again onto the rare resources problem mine is currently 250/5.9 dmg sliced. I'm just hoping he's correct and that the new specials will be somewhat decent. If he is correct I'm also hopeing the dev's will make the resources more readily available so there's a better chance of gettin higher quality.

I should add though I've never seen a flamer posted so far above 300 damage unsliced from any galaxy so I have very little faith in my smiths optimism.

Also need to consider that it would be rather boring for the smiths if perfect recources were always available in quantity.

I must agree with the first post here... I myself have become quite bored. I have been a Commando for quite some time now and I gave up on it a few days ago for working on Music skills... its more fun because you can actually climb the skill ladder lol. I have been at zero available points for days and keep sacrificing things just to play music for fun. Money has piled up so much that its a rather waste to really do anything right now... I never plan to be an all out entertainer by any means.. but as soon as I hit the top of the Musical Knowledge box I am going to be quite done with playing for awhile... I've done all of the working quests except one (I'm bored of these too.. running around all day is about as much fun as trying to gain HW exp at this point).

The battle is just how long everyone can wait for this patch to come out and give us "some" relief. I would hope maybe just one dev or somebody working within the company could just take a character of their own, make him a Novice Commando, and test the gains for a very short term period for an hour in one day.. see if it is suitable for temporary relief to at least give some of us a break on live servers sitting here for weeks wasting time and RL money. *shrugs*.. nothing we can do but wait and bitch/whine/moan like everybody has been until we get fixed
