Is the HAR a heavy weapon or a rifle?

To be more specific, do the skill mods for being a rifleman work with the acid rifle?

I'd like to know because I'm working towards Commando, and I'm trying to plan the rest of my skill points and they're either going into the rifleman profession, or entertainer (I'm twi'lek) and assigning that last 81 points is a pain!

The acid rifle is a heavy weapon. The only things that effect it are it's own skill modifiers. You can't mindshot or anything with it. However, you can use pistol skills and modifiers with the launcher pistol.
