Hey guys, I wanted to get some sort of rough comparison b/t the BH class and the Commando class on armor use. From my own experience, the majority of BH's that I know don't use armor, and when we do, it's mostly a helmet and a PSG III. How bout y'all?

Well if we are using our heavy weapons armor is not really much hinderance. And I'm still quite suprised at the "cheap" cost of flame single 1, even with my extremely high cost HAM Flame thrower

ANy of the more experienced commando's want to chime in?

I wear armor all the time. Legs, chest, and a helm.

Saving up for a really good set of composite.

Full composite(sliced and Im juiced to the gills when I wear it) and a Shield generator. Been looking for some of the new Enhanced Composite. Going the mobile artillery peice route.

I haven't seen any enhanced composite schematics on my crafter char? what is it?

Unfortunatly wookiees cannot wear armour, and if i alway wore a shield I'd have to buy a new one daily. But the armour smith i use charghes me 4k per so i don't see why that would matter...

Thsi being soall i use my shield for is a last ditch protection while i run my &$$ off. If i wasn't a wookiee i don't see a point to wear armour as a commando, when you think about you lose or win not depending on armour but depending on if your lucky and you gun hits most of the time or not. May just be me but thats how i see it.

Ivoni, I just started commando. COMPOSITE ARMOR REALLY HELPS! Both my BH friends were it also. Though we support each other now.... Oh and ivoni, I found out another thing thats good for grinding. Those green squill clones on Dathomir. Kwi's are also good.

Personally, I don't have crap for armor...now. But once i scrape together the creds i'm buying a full suit of composite. I figure that since one dosen't have to use the specials alot, why not? And i have lost by the tip of my furry bothan head quite a bit, so me thinks that'll set me over the top into victory moreoften

Enhanced as in made with the Krayt Scale optional components and the new experimented advanced segments(once they are working properly). Should make for an all around better suit.

I wear padded...just for looks though. I hate the way all of the helms look so I've never worn one. Prolly gonna getme some of that fancy composite I've been hearing about heh. Just wish armor was more customizable...

as you can see in the signature I've got an armorsmith, so getting armor with good slices was not a problem, I made myself a full suit of 40% composite (normal segments, lower ham than I normally make at the expense of 1 or 2% resists) and had my master smuggler friend stand there and "Slice till it was right"...
Final total ham costs are 321 Health 284 Action 342 Mind. I'm pratty **edit** happy with this suit.

Yeah man I love being able to run around in full composite when im buffed...we hit hard with default attacks, and specials are fairly low and cant be spammed.... It's really great and im actually having fun. Altho ill have to make a macro to only equip a partial set of armor when I wanna use nades and the LP....actually I could just use booster blue and tatooine sunburns and keept the full suit on.

Here's a question for the armor experts out there. I'm on Sunrunner, and haven't seen much composite armor. But, I do have nearly a full set of marine armor. How does marine compare to composite?
