Hi,

I suppose this should be in a general forum for this but as I am a Commando and could see one at a glance here it is.

The general problem with games like this ( ie on-line games ) is they are huge and very complicated and due to economic constraints often get released way before they are ready. This is the way of the world and we should accept this.

However one thing that we should not accept is the lack of communication from the developers. If this was a static none moving, none subscription game then I wouldn't expect feed back, but as we pay ( £ 29.99 ) for 1 months running of the game, then start to sub scribe we need feed back.

Were I project managing the Dev team for SWG I would do it like thus ;

1. Have A dedicated member of the team dealing with the forums for x number of hours per day, determined by the amount of new questions that need answering. Or it different Devs have differing areas of expertise, each dev should spend x time per week / day on forum work. This will make people happy that their messages are being read and responded to.

2. Plan work in advance on a rotational basis. By this I mean lay out in advance what you are working on well in advance for changes to the system over all, above bug fixes.

3. Review 1 or 2 ( or more ) professions each month, ie look at what people ( the paying players ) are saying in the forums for 1 -2 classes and pick out a list of changes / updates for each class then the month before you dedicate a team to work on those classes you let the community vote on the list of changes proposedand implement the highest rated.

This should be listed in time required to do a change, for example 1 change might take all month to do, 2 changes a week a piece etc so we vote how that time is spent.

Down grading a profession should also be voted on ( if things need to be downgraded ), so that instead of just getting a Nerf and nothing back people get something they asked for and the lesser of evils in the form of a nerf.

This way each profession will progress and change over a pre dictated timespan with the community deciding how Sony spend the time we pay for in development.

Just an idea thats all.
