I have tried 3 guns. One of which is pistol XP, the others do about 15 points of damage and the grenades just do combat xp?

What am I missing...is everyone waiting on thegreatestfixitallpatch too?

Yap no commandos will patch. Launcher pistol will give HW xp after patch, yet still use pistol skills.

Flamethrower gives HW xp, try to get a good one and your fine for now.

I've been Master Commando for 12 days now and Master Pistoleer for three days now. So there is a way to level up in the commando tree.

Tip #1: Bring your running shoes

Tip#2: Clone

Tip#3: Tell everyone you came down with a highly contagious virus thus keeping anyone away from you for weeks.

Tip#4: Durni's: they are your friend, visit their lairs frequently.

Tip#5: Find more relatives of the Durni on different planets and visit their lairs more frequently.

Tip#6: Enjoy

Until the patch, it depends on your server. You are on Intrepid, so I'm not sure about your server; Tarquinas still has no HW that are usable.

Apparently in the TC patch they are fixing the laucherpistol to give HW xp as previously stated. Also I saw that the acid rifle cert is getting fixed too so I'm going to try and get both weapons before even hitting novice commando.

When the patch goes live and the acid rifle cert is fixed it should be a whole lot easier to lvl in commando. I still dont agree that launcher pistol uses pistol specials but hey , we're so broken I'll take about anything they can throw at me to help me lvl heh.
