I've been grinding Commando recently, and haven't been able to get more than 3100 XP from any kill.
Quenkers, Huurtons, Pikets, Voritors, nothing on dantooine has given more than 3000 XP.
Do I smell an under-the-radar Nerf? Or am I doing something wrong?
(yes i'm grouped, and no i'm not burning them to death)
any comments? Flame away... heh.

It's been that way as long as I can remember... and that goes quite a while back.

I do think this was a nerf because I am definetely getting less xp than before. Not that it is the biggest deal ever.

Yeah, Commandos have always had a 3K XP cap on HW XP. XP doesn't drop on lower level mobs as much as it does for other professions thought.

It is true... I get 3K max for pikets as commando, while I can get well over 4K working as a TKA. I would note though, that it seems to take a hell of a lot more XP to level a box of TKA than it did for the same level box in commando. So perhaps the XP is being doled out on a curve to account for that. Maybe I'm wrong on that... I don't have any numbers to support this theory because I'm not in the game now.
The wildest fun I had with the flamethrower was the other day when I was one-shot killing torturs on Talus. They had pretty high HAM, and were giving a lot of XP for just one squeeze of the trigger per animal.

It was this way when I was commando, but as a tradeoff at Master you still get 1300 exp from a commoner, while as TKM I get somthing very loww like 300 or somethin. Take your Flamer to Fort Tusken and one shot kill most of the place. Heh watch that TKA trying to take down a raider and bam oneshot for you. It makes people so mad but the exp just rolllllls in. Heh 2 shot killed a warlord once, with a speed sliced flamer.
