the tameingis ability to tame pets, the training lets you call them. if you can train lvl 25, and can call lvl 15, then you cant call the lvl 25s.

Ok So Im a Bounty Hunter trying to turn TKA Master (for something new) and last night I gained level 4 unarmed and the commando novice opened up for me. Now this is also a class that I have always wanted to try so I take it and buy a flame thrower right off the bat but now I look over the Commando weapons again I wonder if there is another that might not be better for PvE.
Anyone with some constructive thoughts on what weapon besides the flamer that makes Commando fun to play? Which one seems to be best over all fighting creatures?
I might end up being a TKA and Commando, not sure yet.

The flamethrower is the only practical weapon for PvE. You can use consumable weapons, esp the rl when you get enough skill in that box on factional missions. Nothing like getting 6k cr for 1-2 shots from a rl (whichs is about 1k/shot). Course you can use the flamethrower and get the full 6k. Grenades are hazardous to your health, and the HAR modifiers are presently broken.

Ok so then my next question is, should I ONLY move the Flame Thrower since I am also planning to Master TKA, maybe save those extra Commando points for Medic or Creature Handler?

I would do whatever you find fun. I think that the heavy weapons are pretty cool (I can take out 2 dark troopers with a couple of rockets), but grenades have attrocious accuracy and range atm, and the HAR modifiers (accuarcy and speed) dont stack properly and also dont affect the weapon atm. The reason for this continuing sitationis that the HAR was added late in beta (replacing the beam rifle I think), the coding was fouled up, and the dev in charge of combat doesnt particularly care for our profession for some unknown reason. I think that you can master commando, tka, and get novice medic with one skill box.
