I'm running around with my Commando (4-4-4-2) on Yavin blowing up the local wildlife with flameSingle2 (Kliks and Anglers mostly) when I suddenly notice that I'm putting Bleed DOTs on creatures as well as the usual Burn DOTs....
Is that just a graphical bug, or am I really putting Bleed DOTs on creatures? Its pretty strange.
I'm using a flamer (max damage of 1083) but there are no DOTs on the flamer.
Anybody else notice this?
BTW, if you are working up commando, goto Yavin. Everything there is fire vulnerable.

I think the MOBs make themselves bleed sometimes.
I've seen it with many diffrent guns.

Do tortons usually have an attack that causes a bleed? It would be interesting if they didnt. It would then be hard to claim that the creatures are attacking each other and giving each other bleeds. The only place the bleeds could come from are from you.
I've never done this with any other gun either. I wonder if the bleed is just an erroneous symbol being thrown up, or if its actually causing damage.

Yeah, I noticed this myself hunting Mokk on Dantooine yesterday. I don't know wether it's intentional or not but I don't mind it at all.

You can sometimes cause an enemy to bleed if you hit them hard enough (I think its related to wound chance). This has been around for some time and is supposed to happen.

Yeah, every so many shots a bleed is often inflicted. It's one of the biggest obstacles with rifleman /concealshot, since the bleed causes them to get attacked.

Strangely enough, I have -never- caused a bleed with Concealshot. I did earlier on my Radiant toon with HeadShot2 though. I also get bleeds with VKs quite frequently.

I noticed that too the other day on Yavin, but shrugged it off because I was using some random rebel NPCs as angler fodder.

Never knew that. Thanks for the info. I wish you could find out more about the game engine/mechanics from the documentation.
