Ok guys, I am back after a little hiatus. I was hologimped for a while and then was away after the birth of my son. Quite a bit has changed in that time and I am looking for some clarification on a bug or "featured nerf."

Back in January when I had the whole flamethrower tree, flamecone1 worked great. It would hit targets that were side by side in a nice little range. Many of the creatures would do dot, and most also got direct damage.

Now it seems I can't hit the broad side of a lair with flamecone1. If I have 2 creatures side by side in aggro form, i can only hit the one that is targeted. The other one takes no damage, and this is within 5-10 meters of me. Did FC1 get hit with the nerf bat or what?

I used the form search and found a few posts on it, but nothing conclusive and the search is so bad anyway i thought I would ask.

I'm not a numbers guy so I don't have stats/screenies for you, and I don't have that kind of time anyway.Has anyone else looked into this?

oh we have been knocked down the flight of nerf stair, hitting just about every one on the way down, but to answer your question, it seems like mobs need to be practically on top of each other for Flamecone to work now. And I'm not sure if you missed the DOT nerf...now our damage comes up front, so if you miss with the initial damage, but hit with the burn, it ticks for crappy damage now.

Heheh WB my friend. Yes Commando is still fun but... Hey we got hit with the nerf bat untill the foam was gone and it became a hard plastic tube untill we were no longer able to say anything from the shear payn and humility of being a commando. But hey fire is still fun!
