Anyone tested /flamesingle2 against Jedis?
I'm tempted to ditch my BH LLC tree and pick up Investigation 3 and go after Jedis with detonation droids, and my trusty flamer.
We all know the bane to our Flamer is armored targets, and Jedis can't wear armor if they want to use their force.
Just curious how this works out.

Stick with the LLC you will hit more. I tested flamecone2 with the help of one our PA Jedi's, I was lucky if it once very 15 times. I was using accuracy food as well and kneeling.
But nades hit every single time

I did this last night. It sucked, if there wasn't a bunch of debris in the room, and someone to help me, I would have been toast. You couldn't even tell I was hitting him. It was almost like he was healing the DoT, the second I laid it. I know I was hitting him, you could see the initial damage, but then he would heal, and the DoT was not there, I don't know though, it was my first time to fight a jedi, so it could have been some kind of bug. But everyone knows, that this game is bug free

I've done it from both sides. The Flame specials are just as eaily blocked as all ranged attacks...and the DoT no longer passed through the block. So Master Lightsaberists, have a built in 85% defense. If you can intimidate then flamecone, that works well....(thank heavens for Novice Brawler). Best of like landing a Brawlerintimidate on a target moving at Swoop Speed, though. The server itself doesn't seem to be able to figure out our proper position, so we generate a TON of "target is out of range" messages.
I was letting another Master Commando throw proton grenades at me and they worked scary-well. I couldn't block the effect and my force armor was letting the damage through. My melee toughness seemed to be doing its job though. My saber throw has a farther ffective range than my grenades, though, but just by a hair.
If it weren't for the limited range/chance to incap yourself, grenades might be a decent anti-jedi weapon.
Rocket Launchers, by the way are blockable...but the Proton Grenades that are needed to make them, not. So I can block a rocket....but not a rock. Nor swords...Stones and pointy sticks totally pwn Jedi.
Presumably, if you fired a RL against a target NEXT to the Jedi, the blast area would catch the Jedi...assuming he is next to the target, and not *really* 50 meters away.

The Jedi were extremely upset that they could heal every DOT with their "heal all" ability except for fire. Therefore, the DEVs went straight after that loophole and gave them the ability to heal fire. Could have been the cause but dont know.

The good news is that only "TotalHealSelf" and "TotalHealOther" heals the DoT, and very very few Jedi are Master Healers.
