Im taking on Quinkers with Grenades, and want to know if I should simply stya in the middle of the lair and lob away, or if I should try and damage the creautres around the lair first until they are 1 Bar Ham, and then end with grenades. Thanks.

Basically stand in the lair and as the mob spawns they will surround you and take the area effect damage from the grenades.

if you use somethng else then you'll get xp in the weapon you used, and not the full combat xp. to get full combat xp you need to do all the damage with grenades.
