It's no wonder we get shafted. And please note that I kept an almost civil tongue. Flaming on the forums is a real quick way to losing our ability to flame in the game.

the biggest problem with the people in this game is everyone is very narrow-minded.
most people, except holo-grinders, have only played their profession, even since launch, so they don't know the problems other professions face. So because of their ignorance, they see one un-broken thing that probably balances the profession out, in terms of skill investment and whatnot, however, it burns them to a crispy fritter because they have no armor...and most people are really not rich enough to afford that uber set of 80% comp armor...so, cut the guy a lil slack for his ignorance.

Heh. Good point. I was flamed because of a TEF a few months ago and just sort of sat here, blinking. One shot and I was dead. No armour, no buffs of course. But I'd just gotten to m.pistoleer and thought I was really cool. However, that's where I diverge from the commoners, I guess. Instead of screaming nerf everywhere, I ended up /telling to the guy for about 5 minutes, and he was very helpful. Basically asking him all sorts of stuff about commando, etc. I've been a lot of profs in the game, and because I wanted to, not because of holos, so I guess I have a different perspective. All of the combat classes have their weaknesses, and they all have at least one thing that is "unfair." Also, money's never been an issue to me, as I was able to make my first 100k in 2 weeks, because I was the only person on my server selling 25% kin bone armour.

Its' funny that this was posted tonight... I am commando and have left and returned to the prof a couple times now. My roomate is a master CH and pikeman.. and a very poor loser. Tonight after about 8 beers decides to go overt and "Protect" Our home city. He groups up with 4 other non master prof characters, Pulls out his 2 pre nerfed rancors. Needless to say within minutes of hanging out in front of the starport.A master commando pops out and in very quick time wastes all of them. Now i was in the other room and i heard him yelling and banging on the desk. He then procceeds to tell me that the commado is an unfair class blah blah we have all heard it before... and i have engaged in this same argument with him on several occassions. I then looked at his screen and sure enough... no armor on any of the people he was fighting with and he refuses to wear armor cuz "He has 2 rancors and shouldnt have to." lol.
The moral of the story is that so many ppl practice the "my dog is bigger so i should allways win and if i dont your cheating or its unfair", Philosiphy.. That we will never stop seeing posts like this untill every class is the same thing..
P.S. During this argument with him he said "it's not right cuz in real life i would have kicked his ass cuz i am a master in two things." My response was " There are no rancors in real life dumb A$$".
