I rencently achieved TKA Novice. I am about 50k unarmed from getting Knockdown and was wondering if there is a better place to hunt than what I am currently doing. Right now I'm on Tatooine taking Cu Pa missions, they give me 453 xp per kill, plus the money for the mission. Anything better out there?

I am hunting by Wayfar on Tat. At the Tusken Camp. The exp there is not great at that lvl but as you get the ability to do more damage it gets much better. It is better in my oppinion becaue the respawn rate is prety good and there are alway CH hunting there on my server. Keeps you safe and a constant exp. unlike taking the time to get 2 missions and running back and forth to get 2 more.

Well I am on Tatoonie at the moment and I am Apprentice Sharpshooter and almost Master Scout 1 skill away from Master. I hoping to become to a Bounty Hunter so I am working on that. I wanna get my pistol skill up but the things that lurk aroind the cities of tatoonie are too weak I would like to kill some whites and yellows without going on a huge exibition just to find some like tatoonie. So any suggestions on planets I am training on my Pistol Specialist Skill at this moment.

Not looking for a "camp" like Tusken fort, or a exploit place, and I don't really want to roam newbie grounds killing everything in sight. I just need a good place to run around finding lairs that give good CH XP- just your basic fighting.

I'm using a fully grown cu pa, and closing in on management 3, with another cu pa in my datapad. He's only half grown, but I hope to start using him at around 60-70% along with the other one. I'd like to get management 3 and taming and training 1 before the nerf, so I can keep using them both together.

I'm not looking for any kind of "secret hunting ground", just a good place to find mobs that will give good xp at my creature's level. Just plain old normal hunting. My pets are CL 11, so I'm thinking CL 12-15 might be pretty good.

In my opinion, you're going to have a very tough timemoving up the Rifle tree if you don't have Warning Shot in the 0/0/0/3 box of marksman. The most commonly used method of killing harder level MOBs is this:

Mindshot1, Headshot1 (then whatever you like) until MOB charges you...
WhenMOB charges you, fire Warning Shot...repeat headshots and warning shots.

Warning shotwill make him turn around and run the other way.
While he's running the other way, you get two benefits:
1. He's not attacking you
2. You can aim and hit him with another Headshot

This, again in my opinion, is the "bread-and-butter" attack of most riflemen since they Nerfed suppression fire. I'm not sure how you would survive without WS.

Talus is lame, go to Lok. I love Lok, I've spent weeks there soloing things cause I dont like people so I avoid the cities for the most part. Lok does have killers but the xp is way better on average. Missions are tough so I'd avoid them less you have a group, but jsut going out hunting is easy. the Perklets (spelling?) are great xp and as long as you say about 30 m away from them they dotn cause much damage at all! WHat you need though is a pet that everyone can handel and get it from some one who can trainit to group with you because you get more xp if your grouped even with one, even if you dont useit to attack just being grouped can equal a few hundred more points xp.

So go to Lok its really fun up there!

Ok, I am a starting rifleman as well. I play very casually so I just reached 1 0 0 0 in the rifleman profession, mindshot2 should help a bit though.

Here is what I hunted to get where I am and where they are located.

Lok

Spined Snakes are awesome. With a good laser rifle for MS1, then a DLT20a for HS2 they go down easily and are good exp. NON-BAF is important here. The great spined snake is the best exp and doesn't have a ranged attack. All are aggressive.

Perleks are also good but are faster than Spined Snakes. Again use a high dmg rifle for MS1 and then HS2 with your secondary rifle. All are aggressive

Snorbals - IF you can find them, these are really good experience. Only Mature and Elder males are BAF. None are aggressive.

Tattooine

Banthas - If you have exploration in the scouting tree, then these are usually slower than you are. Just MS1, then HS2 while running backwards. Very nice experience if you can find them. From what alot of posters say, Mos Taike has a lot of these around it.

Correlia

If you are rebel, there is a Rebel base NW of Kor Vella. Its a long run there but the rewards are worth it. Make sure you have a good mask scent as there are usually Giant Dalyrakes and Wrix's around that are aggressive and it is very painfull to have to run all the way back from Kor Vella. Also, stay away from Lord Nyax's men until you are much higher level. The thing to hunt here is rebel faction missions. The missions are really close to the base (~500m - ~800m) so you can grab two in the same direction, get good faction, exp and money all at the same time.

I've never hunted here but I have heard it is good exp.

Talus

Tortors - These are very large turtle creatures that give good exp. You will have to use the "Yo-Yo" method as they are faster than you are. "Yo-Yo'ing" is the art of using Warning shot when they are ~30 meters away to send them running away from you. Wait till they are ~50m out and then HS2 them again to get them to chase you again.

Anyways, thats what I have hunted to get to where I am. Probably not the best exp in the world but not the worst by far. I am a Bothan and I have Exploration IV so I have a very good mask scent which helps alot on Lok and on Correlia fighting rebels as I almost never have to worry about aggressive mobs.

Hope this helps someone out there, also if you have any information to add to this, please do so.

Talus maybe lame but its easier that Lok. Talus has way less ago so you can actualy walk around. The Humbabas on Talus go down in just a few shots and give decent low lv exp and spawn like crazy from the nest. And you don't need a "tank" for Talus either.

I was scamming unarmed xp earlier killing ravenous tortons on Rori, but you can just as easily kill them for rifle xp. They do not DB, which is veryimportant. It's also important to find a nice, slow, secluded spawn.

Essentially, you get out a nice hitting and/orreliable weapon to Mind shot 1 and 2, then follow up with head shots until they charge and incap you. Be sure you are close to where they will return to when you are helpless, to ensure that you get the xp. Usually by the time you come out of the incapacitation, they will nearly be dead. (they have about 10k HAM)

I was using my laser rifle because sometimes I would get up to a 1k bleed, which on a 10k HAM creature only need a small supporting bleed to finish the creature off. Whatever xp you are going for, be sure that is the only kind you use to deal normal damage.
