Well, well, yesterday a whole bunch of high level padawan (I mean at least Master LS) were killed by a gang of BH all using a Pistol with Mind Fire dot.
So what the classical Healer 4 0 0 4 can do against fire?
I mean FIre can only be removed with TOTAL HEAL SELF /OTHER? .....
I mean I know I am Healer 3 2 2 0 and I could manage to heal my wounds for a bit but still....
What ya think about it?

not every template should be able to do everything, it makes sense the stronger dots would take a stronger move to get rid of. Just hunt with a doc w/ fire blankets

Just heal the damage as needed, don't worry about getting the DoT off, just focus on killing the guy. In most big fights I don't cure poison or disease until I've either got a little time for a breather or the battle's over (of course, often enough it's cured for me by the cloner).

1)Get Master Healer
or
2)Hunt near a lake

Hello Commando's,
I was wondering what damage a fire dot does now? Is it just damage that ticks on health (if so how much?) or does it actually cause wounds (if so, how much?)

I'm doing roughly 25% of the initial damage as DOT. It only hits health. There are some major issues though.
1) If you incap a mob with dot damage it will fall over, you will drop out of combat and then the game will realize you can't kill something with a DOT and re-animate said mob who will then come and kill you. You will only get the xp for killing it once, although you'll get multiples of the faction points for it.
2) If the mob incaps you while it's on fire the DOT will no longer damage it while you are incapped.

im using a 460 DPS plasma flamer and im doing about 400s-500s in dot damage
