Thread: Novice Commando Weapons

I've just noviced commando, but I don't know how to get heavy weapons XP. The lowest rated weapon I see is the acid rifle, which, my CL is high enough to use, but I don't have the skill box for it. All of the heavy weapons I see require skill boxes past novice. So, which weapon can I use to get Heavy Weapons XP until I earn a skill box while still a novice?

The launcher pistol and the Massasi Knuckler are the commando novice box weapons that will give HW Xp. Good luck.

There is also a new RotW loot called I think the Corellian Destroyer, which is basically just a base 100dps LBC, so I dunno how good that's gonna do ya hehe

The Massasi Knuckler does not give heavy wep xp. It sucks trying to lvl from novice commando with the Launcher pistol since the AOE or whatever is broken....any tips from you commandos out there?

Not sure if this will work, but I was considering wokring on leveling my marksman and/or my Rifleman. That way, my combat level would be higher and I could use some low-level "Heavy weapons" that don't require anything but Novice Commando. Not sure if this will work, but it couldn't hurt...
