Well, Starnick I think has always been here, so thats good,Starnick always had good ideas IMHO, just wonered what happened to Garvin. I always thought Garvin would be the guy tobring needed change.

I was gone, came back after EQ2 for a while, and intended to return as a commando but this CU seems to have broken commando in all new ways. Dont get me wrong, I love the CU, just wish there would have been some love for commando finally.

Anyway, i started trolling the forums again and though Id drop a line, even though I doubt anyone remembers me.

garvin stepped down because... well, i don't really remember why he stepped down, i think he just wanted someone new to have the position or something.... although it doesn't really matter anyway, since garvin is still around ALOT... we basically have 2 correspondents, although only one can view the correspondent boards since their not allowing blue glowies in anymore IIRC....

Correspondents have a 6 month lifespan now; Garvin stepped down because his term would have ended right as the CU testing was starting, and he didn't want to throw whoever was going to take his place into that without time to prepare.

I think it's my turn after Starnick's term is up.

Yeah, but the devs would rather go pull some random drunk off the street to be correspondent than give the position to me. I dunno, it may have something to do with my hostility and sarcasm.

Nah, couldn't be.

Wow, that's what I call teamwork.

That's freakin' awesome.

Only thing better than that would be the day that Garva just gets fed up with us alland bans all us commandos for a day or two.

Welcome back TechnoHic, its always nice seeing another old familiar face returning

Technically Garvin's correspondentship would have ended approx May 5th, and he stepped down 2 months earlier from that date to A) Let in at least another commando Sandbox Tester (which...in the end, we found out wasn't really testing...) and B) He didn't want to have a change in corro admist a very big change due to the chaotic nature it would entail (lots of that indeed!).

Of course...because the CU brought quite a bit of turbelance, the devs extended the term limit a bit until the dust settles.

Btw...Ryu/CPL...I *do* have a character on Valcyn; I hold duel citizenship on Chilastra/Valcyn
