Thread: Commando Legs--Cybernetic Implant--What does this mean?

On a private forum a trustworthy soul found a variety of interesting things in the RotW expansion files that he shared with us. One of the benefits of having cybernetic legs (or possibly a certain kind of cybernetic legs) was:

"commando_legs: These cybernetic legs provide a stable platform from which you may fire heavy weapons even while standing."

Does anyone know anything more about this? Does this mean that firing heavy weapons without the legs will require us to kneel? Perhaps we sufer an accuracy penalty if standing?

Just curious.

when u fire several useable commando weapons u goto kneeling and sit down your gun as of pre cu maybe with the robot legs to brace u u will woop out a rocket and fire ? saves 5 seconds

Be careful... remember when Tiggs and Thunderheart acknowledged the pearl drop problem with premium / flawless? Look what came out of that one. *Can't fix it.. so you screw you guys

Yeah, except, you don't HAVE to kneel anymore. Probably just a sizeable accuracy bonus.

I typically don't trust anything until I see it in gameor see it posted by a red name...Since Beta for the new expanison should be starting soon, and we have less then a month before the expansion goes live, I'm personally not going to worry about any "cybernetic" speculation...even by a "trustworthy soul"...


I have heard nothing in the CU regarding any of our heavy weapons forcing us to kneel...currently ingame our consumable launcher weapons force us to kneed...maybe this "trustworthy soul" got fed a red herring nugget that didn't include the CU changes...


If there is such thing as "Commando Legs", then I'd guess they help us with our "hinderances"...we do carry the "heaviest" weapons in game so we might end up with more movement penalties then others...So I can see these "commando legs" helping with that...

Well it sound nice ... a CyberLeg is sure usefull to fire heavy weapons with accuracy and stability

Nope. Nothing in the tre files showed from where these were to come. The same files al;so showed "tauntaun" references thopugh, so it could be something for way down the road.

only place that is still unexplored is the blackscale processing area.


no legs have been found yet, maybe the answer is here.
