Ok i am a Commando, are we getting specials? What is happening with this class, I am new to this so if you could fill me in I would be greatly gratefull.

A complimentary class is that an official qoute, or your thought on the matter? Because i am hearing specials are coming they were supposed to be added in the CU beta, either way i am looking for clarrification with some fact to support this....not a flame just want some supporting "Official" information please.

as of now, there is no official word on commando's getting any specials.

I have to disagree, I am seeing pistols that do more damage than my plasma flame thrower, and far more damage than any heavy weapon I have seen and I browse the vendor search everytime I log on.


My hope is that the weaponsmith learning curve hasnt quite gotten up to speed with commando weapons, maybe resource requirements changed on them I dunno but I am hoping we will see our weapons get a significant step up in damage output when the WS's figure out how to make them better and have what they need to do so.


I am master carbineer and master commando and I can pretty much outdamage my group everytime with my laser carbine or E11 mk2. The modded dps is about 10-20 below my plasma FT dps but the range is double so its a no brainer.


Im'm hanging in there to see what happens though, Commandohas always been my favorite profession.

Current status of Commando isn't what was intended and in no way lives up to the amount of skill points.


Lots of our things are broken, check the current issues to see what they are.


Ex) Master Bounty Hunter's Proton Carbine is easily acquired and can have DPS of 700+ poweredup. Other professions are besting us in our own area. We are in no way a "5" on damage dealer.


A good template is: Master BH, Master Pistoleer, Master Marksman, 0030 Carbineer. Take your pick of a weapon and it'll best us.

Well, Commando is really only a complimentary class. I suggest mastering another combat profession such as Carbineer or Bounty Hunter to go with it. The damage output of commando weapons with some of the abilities of other classes can really hurt things
