I'm going to be going in for an Advanced Scouting profession soon and I'm not sure what to do. Be a BH with some CH skills or be a Ranger with Master CH. What would you recommend?

Well first if your intrested in any of the above, master scout 1st, then work on weapon skills , find a weapon you like and stick with it. get a nice non -ch pet, Try it out , if you like having a pet then keep harvesting and get creature handler and work on getting stronger pets.

To be honest Ranger is more of basic scouting , A LOT MORE. If your tired of camping in scout, don't hold your breath, ranger camping is even more. There are some bonuses, tracking for example, some nice camps. other than that there isn't that much differance between what a scout does and what a ranger does. Will there be changes in the future that can change that , HOPEFULLY.

Try it out then make up your mind, but beware if you plan on mastering ranger you can only master one more profession

Have fun playing the game, This is a game after all it should be fun.

I am master commando. My advice is go up the flame tree first, it is your best weapon. Then go up Heavy Support, even at master, the hit/miss/time to use these dosent really warrent much use and you only will use these occasionally for fun. Do acid rifle last. HAR is kinda lame compared to flamer unless you are fighting some flame resistant mob. HAR might be more useful if they nerf the flamers damage to things and fix some bugs.

Concerning Field Tactics, as you go up the tress, this comes along nicely, however, you can augment it with grenades to speed it along. With the proton grenade cert, I can throw ONE grenade at a mob on Dathomir and get 1800 combat exp from it. The proton grenade also has HUGE blast radius so I usually hit 2-3 mobs, making that 3600-5400 combat exp per grenade. Why do i need combat exp at master commando? Well, I decided to go up the TKA defense tree that requires combat exp so this is just GREAT.
