I read on one of the forums that the flame dot is back? Has anyone tested this yet. It seems people are already
piccy about it.

Define "back." I'm a TestCenter player, so if you tell me what you'd expect to see from "back" I can tell you if it's there.

back as in stacked flame dots ticking for 1000 damage in PVP. I was just wondering because right now stacking all 4 only yields about 250 to 300 damage in PVP not PVE.

I'll check it out tonight…ah, the joys of having two accounts, which I can use to shoot myself in the face.

Man that would be so sweet! Please let us know, maybe the DEVs are doing a stealth boost?

I can tell you this much to start…rockets against melee is more or less useless. In 6 test shots from my commando toon at my Master Swordsman/Master Pikeman/Master Brawler I had 2 misses and 4 blocks. That's right, somehow my melee toon blocked 4 rockets with an LVA. Still trying to figure that one out. I may try again once I get more rocket packs and see if mastering commando and hopping myself up on snowcake makes a difference.

I haven't used a Flame DoT since the last patch a couple of days ago (currently grinding a Master Doctor / Master Combat Medic to help with testing...so we can get buffs easier)...

I'll test it tonight and report back...I haven't recieved any official notice of a change so if they did change our DoT, it's a stealth move on their part (or a bug)...

That was pretty much my conclusion last night as well...I ran 10 missions on Endor against Crimson Blurgs and didn't notice any increase in our DoT Tick...still fairly weak...

I did notice something else though (something I know many folks already do)...On Endor we can get 11K missions for Crimson Blurgs...it takes about 3 to 4 specials to kill each Blurg (and it's fairly easy to get them in Cone Postion)...when you get to their lair their is usually 2 of them waiting for you (non-aggro)...kill them, then hit the lair...try and ignore all those that spawn around you and keep hitting the lair...using 60% comp with no buffs, I was able to destroy the lair, jump into my vehcile and head off to the next mission fairly quick...didn't worry about killing the newly spawned blurgs (except in the cases where 4 would spawn and they'd all heal the lair)...I ran about 10 missions in under 40 minutes (most time spent traving to and from the missions)this route, netting me over 100K...Just thought I'd throw that in for anyone looking for some quick money)...
