Good day

At the moment i am working through the bh and pistoleer template, and upon grinding llc i thought I would like to use heavy weapons but I dont want to lose my pistol skill (appart from my bh ones sp and all that) and was just wondering if doing master commando and master pistoleer might work ok.

At the moment I have the dirty fighting abilities though of course I will have to lose last ditch (my main technique for uber damage).

Another alternative ive been thinking of is doing master rifleman and master commando, thinking of the way commando works I see a commando of a support character dishing out the damage while others tank.

I know of other people going with a master melee profession and master commando, but I dont really want to go melee.

Any thought would be appreciated.

I am a Master Commando/ Master Pistoleer and I can tell you it has its ups and downs. I enjoy commando because of the high damage of my flamethower and the use of blast weapons. I love pistoleer because of the Geo Sonic Blaster and De-10 . However, with that said it is a fun combo but not a very useful one in pvp or pve. You cannot tank in pve and do not have enough defenses to last long in pvp. You can ,however, put out a large amount of damage in pve with the flamer and burn stacking and can be very effective in pvp with a kyrat geo sonic blaster or a de-10. The other really big plus is being good with the only ranged non-consumable blast weapon, the launcher pistol. I hope this helps.

Thank for you r response this helped me use the character builder and look at defences, I think already having unarmed in the brawler profession I can use this to get novice tka and 3 boxs on the conditioning tree I think this would make up for a lot of the weakness which I may have in melee.
