i feel the same way a little short story about my trials and trip to the final resting place i call commando.

First when i started i wanted to be a sniper,but for some reason i ended up with a launcher pistol in my hand and i forgot completely about the sniping life. Then one day Christmas every oen got a holocron and it all went to crap. mine said doctor, so with out thinking about what to do i dropped all 4344 commando and started up to master doctor. Then guess what the next holo was yep you guesses it Commando even the jedi spirits are tellign me to go back. So i master commando, and for a while i froze i couldnt bring my self to drop it to work on BIO ENGINEER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH i will never do that again crafting 3 tiers jsut insain. any ways i did it then i went on to master butt loads of other professions. Then they said that your current character will be able to turn jedi so i stopped at 15 proffession and started my way back up the commando line Which brings me to my final resting place. I dont think im going ot go jedi not right away any ways. Im going to be all force sensitive with my rocket launcher.

congrats braven for hitting yer year mark. how long did it take you to dig up that old post?

Well said Brother! I think we should all keep on keeping on....

I mastered Commando early November. You can see HERE how my attention quickly shifted to us (you'll also see my reply to some silly breast post...one star..lol). We needed help.

After our DOT hit and pre-combat balance nerf...I started to be a bit more vocal. Honestly, I created a charater to meet with Garvin on his server. Little did I know he'd become our shining light! What a crazy year we've been through! Sometimes these things take time. I made a commitment way back then...there's no way I'm ever quiting or leaving the Commando community!This weekend is KEY for us.

This weekend marks my one year with SWG. What a road we've traveled together Brothers! Up, Down, FT always in hand! I decided to check out my posts from "Early" on....

I remember reading that Prima Strat guide a year ago! What to do? What to be? My friend (who quit long ago) was all about the BH. I got online with all of you and BH was the shiznit back then. I wanted something different...something cool. Commando was the obviose choise for me! Here's my first post here...

hehe! Little did I know I took a path of pride and many sad days! I made Novice that night and never looked back or questioned my destiny as a Commando. I'm gonna answer me from almost a year ago!

"Being a Commando; How do you feel about your decision?"

I feel great! It's been tough many times, I'm ineffective many times, and several times I almost cry because I just can't compete. BUT the community here is the absolute best! You'll find great support here. In Game, it has been a tough road, and you'll find that out. But if you hang in there...like it did, rewards will surely follow!

"Has it been rewarding during gameplay?"

Yes! I love the BOOM and many do as well. My HPBC shots look cool and sometimes they hit for great damage. My Protons look cool and when they hit people are amazed. Of course our staple FT is pretty nice. Sadly, if you choose the Commando path, you'll eventually learn that despite the SP you invest...you will not get as many cheers or admiration as other professions. Despite that, I has been rewarding! Better things are to come our way!

"What kind of things does a Commando do on a common session of gameplay?"

That really depends...We are pretty good at Faction Missions and they pay well. I usually try to group with others and hunt. As of now, you'll just be a tag along in the cooler places like the Death Watch Bunker. My advise to you is to bank some credits, go on hunts, do the dungeons, have fun, do your best, and have those credits ready for the cloning center!

Die a lot! Hehehe! Not really...but close. You'll grow to hate the LP and many trees. What we do right now is kinda support the Melee guys. We used to be able to fight the GCW, which I've done, but sadly we can't PVP at all. It's tough. I mostly get buffed and help with Dantooine or Dath hunts...just remember to clone and insure!

Wow...one year with you Crazy Commandos! I've got grey hairs now because of all these issues an I'm a skitzo and he is as well, and he, and Braven...LOL! Back to the Future eh? If I was there back then, I would never change the direction I took. I love you guys!
