Thread: An Idea of how to fix Heavy Weapons

If you ask me Heavy Weapons should be split into two. You have the main cannon which is like any other weapon that carries it's own stats and then you have ammo that you can buy for it. Now the main stats will be in the cannon, but the armmo could also have stats mods as well; like weapon powerups or krayt dragon pearl. You could also go as far as being able to make Advanced Ammo. There would be a different ammo kinds for each of the cannons (beam, acid, blast, etc...) So not only would this equal more stuff for the WS to make, but also have it so we will not have to buy new cannons with new stats all the time until the dur of our main one breaks like every other weapon.


For the ammo modsextermination points could either go to speed, quantity, or damage mods. You could max out a few, but one would be lacking. So you could have an even balance of good speed and damage with average amount of charges, or have ammo that adds a lot of damage and speed to your cannon, but has relatively low amount of uses. Of course the cannon would have the main stats that could be sliced and the ammo only improves the stats somewhat. (to makes it worse if it was a crit failure on experimentation )
