Hi,

First I want to thank everyone (especially Garvin- I love you man) for trying to help the Commando profession and the devs fix this profession along with others. I have been playing since October 7th and have been trying out professions since then. I had tried the tkm/commando template back when the flamethrower could blackbar your health in like a minute. I had commando for two months back then. I finally gave it up though because I hadn't found a decent guild and was doing things in this game by myself. And well I was trying different professions out.

I finally found a very good guild on Radiant named Shen. Now I have Master Commando (for a week now)along with Master Fencer. They are two professions I've always loved. I find my template really kicks ass in both pve and pvp (with the help of dot fencer weapons). I truly believe this template is just wonderful... you have fencer the best defense profession, and you have commando which should be the best offense profession.

I am very happy with the commando profession so far and you guys have given me even more hope. I wanted to ask you something Garvin... Have the devs stated what the role of a commando is in this game? I've heard different stories of what commandos are in different life but that doesn't mean a thing... look at rifleman running around in pvp like pistoleers. As I understand it our role in this game is DAMAGE, high insane damage. To take down the big pve and pvp things in this game like atst's, atats, turrets, bases, haha battlefields.

The purpose of a commando of course changes my views on what commando needs. If they do not change commando at all from now till CB I will be leaving this game. These guys seem to be doing nothing but fooling around will our gaming addiction. SOE has not improved any one of my professions. Not one patch or revamp has applied to me. They do not have to do much to please me,all I really would like from the commando profession if our purpose is as I understand it is to give us heavy armor piercing weapons. Like I understand it we are here to do damage, fine don't give us defense but give us offense like no one has ever seen before in this game. That is all we have and if that is all we have for 169 sp's or whatever it better be damn good. Seriously, if they give us Heavy (hell i'll settle for medium) armor piercing i'll be happy as **edit**. Awhile ago I was talking to a Master Commando and he made some comment like "**edit**ing bastards mastering commando to do uber damage"... still trying to figure out why he said this.

I believe the only reason we are complaining is because we have nothing do to damage to... sure the occasional nightsister elder etc... but I mean the end game in this game... pvp... battlefields... ah you guys remember those? What happened to them? A profession that has had nothing to do since the start of this game... OVER ONE YEAR AGO... that really frustrates me.

Now since I have gotten Master Commando/Master Fencer I have been pvp'ing with it quite a bit. And you know what it actually works pretty damn good. Fencer dots, fencer dizzy, fencer lunge, flamesingle2, switch to fencer (best defense profession in the game). I have also tried using the HAR weapons in duels and when I do they usually hit once in one duel. And you know what? The Lightening Beam Cannon did 240 damage in a **edit**ing duel... if soe doesn't see a problem with this well I might as well unistall the game right now. I know some people will say well buy some better stuff... haha I spend 50k on one of these HARS at the most xpensive mall on Radiant, trade goods. Their HAR's are actually really good. My heavy beam cannons are heavy armor piercing, 4.5 speed, and 4100 max dmg sliced.

I'm sorry this is so long Garvin, fellow Master Commandos, and any Devs bothering to read this... but I love this game even though it does have it's many faults. Sadly if things do not get fixed by the Combat Rebalance this game is done for. I've already seen my 100 person friend list reduced down to 10 that haven't quit the game... YES IT'S TRUE. That is why I feel the need to post this today. I've been told that in the future this game is going to be filled with "roles". May sound stupid but what I mean is there will be a role or purpose for everyone, and everything in this game. This is supposed to happen in CB. I have seen everyone i've met even 3 months ago destroyed (or quit) because of the non purpose in this game which resulting in *drum role* HOLO GRINDING (a.k.a. the stupidest idea you could of brought in this game to practally hand everyone a jedi which is the "super pvp'er profession" that doesn't need any other profession in the game). I know it isn't quite "handing" a gamer a jedi, but it is handing the gamer the exact way to get a jedi in the game, master every profession. Little secret soe, we probably wouldn't have figured it out so damn quick and if you kept it secret, very secret... we might still be figuring out how to unlock the jedi. But anyways I'm yacking...

Like I said I want commando to serve a purpose along with every other profession. I would like more from commando than heavy armor piercing weapons but hey that is in my opinion the thing we need most.

Now I would like to discuss possible ideas for the commando profession:

1. Commando that takes down atat's, atsts, other vehicles, etc...

I have heard the idea being thrown around about maybe medium armor (which does sound pretty sweet) But this just makes me worry about how unbalanced that would be in pvp against other players... of course that medium armor would bring everyone to master commando. One idea I had is to create something similiar to a ranged def or melee def mod but make it a "heavy def" or something. This would be apply to all the heavy things we are supposed to take down. How can we take an atat down otherwise?

Of course then we would need weapons to take these things down. OF COURSE give us heavy armor piercing weapons with terrible speed and accuracy. With things that big why would we need accuracy? And speed is not needed because in pvp we would be gods.

I've liked the idea about us having turrets or heavy weapon vehicles that we could call from our datapad. To not make these too powerful I think they should be VERY vunerable to melee. That would just make the game so much more interesting and complete.

I would like as I think i've said some regular weapons (pistols carbines rifles) to enable us to actually pvp. Don't make this heavy piercing or anything, and not TOO much accuracy, and not too many specials. But just make them usuable, and actually worth it.

That is really all I see in the damage do'er vision of the commando. That is all I would really want. Please don't make us gods... just make us worth something.

I'm going to stop posting now so people can reply to what I say. I have more to say (but I forgot what lol)... and plus I want to play right now.
