Ive heard reports that these have incredibly large delay times (45 seconds or so)
havent seen anything posted about this & had a friend of mine thats a master weaponsmith inform me of this only yesterday
anyone have evidence for/against?

ya, they've got a deley if 30 seconds or more in most cases.....but they're detonators, not grenades....I think these are meant to be placed carefully at the base of a structure and then detonated, not thrown....but that's just me.

I imagine the purpose that the devs had in mind of these is the faction battles where an object/structure needs to be destroyed to win the battle, not really as an everyday weapon. Just a thought...

Can you really detonate them?
or are they like that in the roleplay sense?
ie. you still throw them like normal grenades

no they're thrown like grenades, but they should have a detonate option considering they are detonators.
