Also the LLC is AP 1... so you aren't going to get 50% reduction and then 16% off, I believe you just get 16% off the damage done.. so it's still a one shot... the flamethrower on the other hand is not ap 1 it's ap 0 so you'll get a nice armor reduction (huge for 60%)

Like Ibixat said, LLC = AP1. That alone right there makes it tremendously powerful in PvP, armor or no armor.

This is one of the reasons I hope they give the HAR AP1. The FT is really no good against anyone in high-end armor with medic skills.

Yes, I know composite has lower resis for electricity but the oddest thing happened to me tonight. Remember it has lower resist to electricity it's not vulnerable.

I'm wearing a full 60% composite set (16% for electricity) and a llc special tears right through me doing the one shot (wasen't buffed) for ~1400dmg. The armor at 16% resis electricity and 60% everything else didn't stop a single point of it.

Yes, yes, I know should have been wearing a mkIII shield underneath but those things are expensive to always keep on lol.

Has this happened to anybody else? It was just so odd because it has never happened to me before when I've faced llc. If this is a bug it's going to send my shield bills through the roof lol.

haha armor doesn't always work. There are holes in every single suit.

ya armor doesn't always block damage. I've had it happen with kenetic and enery attacks where the armor blocked nothing.

In case anyones wondering you can watch what your armor stops on the combat channle.

yea, from what I hear, you could possibly get hit like in the waist area where the belt is placed, and well if you don't have a belt with resistances, whichyou usually don't,you take a full hit. Other examples I have heard are wrists.

Ya didn't know about the armor holes because I hardly ever use it Just seemed so odd when it happened lol.
