Subject says it all. If you have a full suit of armor on logic says you would be protected from fire for an increased period of time.

Input appreciated

No, DOT's ignore armor/resists. It's a bug, needs to be fixed.

Armor helps (but I do not think for DOT)... I got blasted with a Flame2 for4500 and the armor took most of the damage (35% Composite). So, no, I didn't die. DOT, however, didget meon the first tickfor more damage (alot more) than the original hit. (Wasn't near water.. gotta love Tat). Plus, I coned 5 of 'em soI didn't really mind the death.. hehe. Anyway, the DOT I took, and the few I coned took, did not seem to be reduced by the armor (to answer your post). I checked back to the combat and I hit two of them for only 250 (cone1), and they were all on their back within two clicks (even with their healer trying to keep up). I sat on my back and watched, the forum made me curious. And, no I didn't notice if they all had armor but at least one had full composite.

If I may hijack a little (gonna anyway - hehe). Our DOT seems to be bugged. 1. If you MISS your target the DOT still hits (nice, but I feel it is not as inteded). 2. The damage of a DOTcan be significantly higher than initial hit - seems it should be at most equal. 3. Resists on DOT do not seem to work (NPC, MOB, and PVP) - resists on standard first hit DO seem to work.

I know, I know "we're fine the way we are," and overall I belive this. Also, I do believe our basedamage is appropriate. BUT the 3 points above need to be addressed. I feel if these items are fixed, 90% of the nerf cries will stop.

Flame away.
