Thread: MasterSynn some points you might think about.
Regarding terrain negotiation. If you want it, take scout. That is what it's there for.
Regarding armor "buffs". I would actually say that commandos are already the most compatible class when it comes to armor, because commandos incur very little cost when they use special attacks. So they can afford for their secondary stats to drop without overly impairing them when using specials.
I wear a full suit of composite, very little of it encumberance sliced. That being said, I dont believe we really need an armor buff. I hardly feel the composite effects at all.

I'm gonna try and follow the chain of command and address issues with you, as SOE is more likely to take you opinion over anyone elses ![]()
I'd like to see some terrian negotation in the Field Tactics branch. Not much. Have some spread out over the branch with it topping out in master. Master Commando = Exploration 2.5
I doubt that my next request will everhappen but possibly getting some kind of armor buff. I don't want our stats increased (as that would imbalance to many things) but some kind of armor encumbarance reduction. I would also like to see this "buff" progress slowly up the tree with most of the effect happening at the Master level. Maybe spread the effect out accross all 4 branches, so dabblers don't get commando just for the armor reduction. BTW i'm not asking for much here, as I don't want people to cry nerf.Maybe this is something that each combat class needs, and could be used as another "balancing" tool. This is just an idea i've seen and thought you could kick it around in front of the devs.
The mysterious Beam Rifle. It needs to be looked at deeper than the cert. It has max dmg around 180-190 and has range modifiers like other heavy weapons. This is horrible. I suspect that the beam rifle is our true long range rifle, and will allow us to use true rifle moves. As such all the stats need a reveamp along with the cert. As it stands adding a cert does nothing for that weapon, as I would avoid using it. BTW what dmg would you guys like to see on the rifle?? remember we don't want to piss of the riflemen (which is a challenge right now
)
Of course the other main things you have already addressed in your last response.
Anyone else have any intresting ideas to add? Remeber not to ask for some move that will kill 20 jedi in one shot. Balance.
I had another idea after reading my own post.
Making ALL combat classes get some kind of armor encuberace reduction at master. This would add some encentive to mastering professions.
