Commando Archive

I am a master rifleman, and I was just wondering whether it was worth my time to go up just one tier of commando, to gain access to Acid Rifles or such. Do these weapons count as 'regular' rifles, or do they use an entirely different set of skill modifiers and special moves?

the only commando weapon that can use special attacks from other weapon lines is the Launcher Pistol (uses pistol specials)

acid rifle , flamers and heavy weapons do not use any special moves not found in their own trees. the only move they can use is 'AIM', but do not use supression fire nor threaten shot nor warning shot.
