I've used this gun for about 20 shots and never got any xp off hits with it.

Once i even hit for over 11k and got zero xp.

Is this a bug with the weapon?

I have not had this experience. I was killing nyms with it just the other day and getting xp.

Wierd... I have watch everytime i killed something and have no seen any xp. Once i one shotted a BH with over 4k HAM and got Zero xp even.

I'll check again but I'm sure it's not giving me xp.

I think there is a wierd bug out there. Often, I'll hit a stretch where I am getting no XP (various weapons). If I switch to a different weapon and kill something I'll get XP, and then, when I switch back, I'll begin receiveing XP again on the "broken" weapon. Very odd... but seems to be fixed every time I switch, kill, and then swithc back. If you just switch it will not work. The kill seems to be important.

Anyway, hope that helps.

How far away were you...I've had issues where I shot something and it moved just out of range before it died...because of the distance I didn't get any xp...happens occasionally solo'ing and once when I grouped...I put dot on a critter and it incapped me...then it moved out of range of me while my group followed...they all got xp (my burn dot took it down) and I got nothing even though I was still alive...
