People say nerf commandos, half my guild thinks they are over balanced, the other half have no opinion. I'm worried that as long as commandos remain the way they are in terms of damage, how its dealt, and how it works. That my skills as a warrior will be simply tossed onto the fact that I happen to have a flamethrower equiped. I hate prejudice people. I may end up leaveing the guild because of their prejudice and ignorence.I happen to value my skill and I happen to valuemy chosen proffession.

The class is still broken and people continue to call nerf. What most people don't realize is that it's so powerful BECAUSE its broken, any idiot can pick up a flamethrower and train it to level 4 and be as effective as a master. Because the flamethrower is ALL we have. And its because of this prejudice that the commando will stay the fotm untill its nerfed or fixxed, and its also because of this prejudice that the commando will likely have(and is currently being consider for) anerf done, BEFORE its fixxed.

I refuse to change my class. They can change the commando from a soldier to a bard or a runt with a pistol that shoots paintballs, I don't care. I refuse to change my chosen proffession just because some losers decide its too powerful. And you know what? Even if they reduce us to the peons we once were I will STILL kick ass in pvp and pve. Because I DO know how to fight, I know the basic strategys of every combat proffession because I have trained in all of them. I know what the term "the perfect offense is a good deffense" means, I know what its counterpart saying "a perfect deffense is a good offense" means aswell. I will pick up any weapon I'm handed and destroy masters of that weapon who are too stupid to use armors shields spices and foods, who wish to rely solely on themselves rather then seek backup. I will eat these nerf herders alive with my LP and prove to them that a nut with ahair dryercan out damage a master with a refined technique as long as they use brains.

I have infact picked up my LP, and as you can see below, I have no skill in the pistoleer line. I picked one up, and dueled someone. With my hyped up deffense, my 50%+ full suit of composite armor and mk3 shield that defends against all damage typesand neutron pixieand dueled a master carbineer with no armor, no food, and no spices. I kicked his ass. Took awhile but bleed 1, and chained healthshot 2 killed him. LPs are NOTHING to scream nerf about, these weapons suck, I'd be better off with a CDEF pistol 27-220 damage 2.6 speed unsliced, horrid ham costs and the only mods I get for it are in the marksman pistol tree. I used my worst weapon and killed someone who used their best. Deffense matters. The guy sent a tell to me saying he hopes commandos get nerfed... I told him he could do the same thing I did and kick my ass just as easily.

I put on the same armor, the same shield, the same neutron pixie spice. I went to war with 18 rebel npcs, all of them coned dark blue-white. I went to town with them, loseing no health or action and getting only minor damage to my mind pool. Half an hour before I went up against 3 rebel npcs, same con, I had my flamethrower and composite armor. Thats it. I got owned, FAST. 3 npcs killed me in less then 5 minutes, I killed 1 of them, and only because I ran up undeclared and unloaded flamesingle2 on him (they were too far apart for cone) and was gunned down like nothing else. 1 shield, 1 spice. Thats all it took, to make me go from death by 2 rebels to victor over 18. And yet my PA leader said and I qoute "hahaha you killed 18 rebel npcs with a flamethrower, call that impressive?" considering 3 took me down easily,I'd sayit was impressive.

I hear you, even if we get nerfed, I'm not dropping my class for anything, I'll take the LP and go wail people lol. Ans I here you on the armor/spices. Try doctor buffs hehe. What was that.. oh its a group of tuskens and a captain, no big i get doctor buffs, I have 2 k health and action, 1k regen rates with a full suit of composite on... The word tank comes to mind...

As far as PvP. There are a lot of whiners on our server man lol. 'course I think thats the same with every server hehe. Too many peopl who just dont want to use their heads. If i was up against that carbineer, I'd almost have had to tell him i couldnt fight him cause he wasn't a worthy opponent. If someone is walking round unarmored, and you hit them with a flamesingle, they cry, if you're nice and dont use the flamethrower and still kick their ass, they cry. It's a freakin joke hehe.

Oh, and if you ever do leave your guild, maybe we should start a guild for po'ed commandos lol
