After you use flame specials, can you immedietly switch weapons, or does it not count until after the 15 second timer? Cause if the change is not reflected I can see how anyone sees this change as fair or proper.
Thanks

You can change the graphic of the weapon you are holding, but you're still considered holding the flamer/HAR/LLC/Rifle until the special's delay is up. So if any says "Just hit the special and change weapons right away and you'll be fine" they don't know what they're talking about. You are "holding" said weapon until its entire action is done, including delay.
I would've rather seen carbine-like HAM's on our specials than this dren. I'm not saying they should do that, but its certainly the lesser of two evils.

Yes, the Flame Special stays in your combat queue the full length on time.

Yep, if you somehow manage to survive the 9 to 15 second delay, then you will switch, and can use unarmed or launcher pistol while the fire dot eats away at it. All in all though, this is lame. I can't live for the 9+ seconds it takes.

Thanks, that is what I thought. Yeah the 2.5 x melee is going to hurt a lot then. Especially since most run faster than we do. That sucks. They shouldcut down on the timer then or let usunequip weapons faster at the least.
