The only thing I wanted to be since I got this game was master commando cuz it sounded so cool. I finally got it, and it wasn't so cool, but I could blow things up and light them on fire, so it was cool enough. Now I can't even light things on fire (well, I can, but it's borderline useless to)
Fudge this. I'm gonna go BH or something, they are much closer to the well rounded fighting machine that a commando is supposed to be.
TH, You are not a Master Commando. Not on test server, not on any server. If you were, you would have a half a clue as to how dumb our profession really is. You would also know that our profession is basically "a guy with a rocket launcher that is only useful because he's the only one that can use it," not a "Commando."
Bye-bye Commandos, I give up on you and your foolhardy attempts at any sort of achievement for the betterment of your profession. I'll be back if something logical happens in the combat revamp (so basically, I won't be back).

I remember back in the day when I was laughed at for being a commando, then we were given the FT and I was called a flavor of the month. Now I guess its back to being laughed at again.

dont think for a minute that BH is better. I just dropped it to go commando.
Combat abilities are crap on a BH and droids are broken so the actual bounty hunting is a chore.

I don't want BH to roleplay and hunt retarded NPC's down...
I want BH so I can have a more well rounded profession that much more closely resembles the definition of a commandos, at least weapon wise. you get pistols, carbines, and a heavy weapon... all of which actually work! **edit**... a BH is actually with his special heavy weapon that the Heavy Weapons Specialists of the game are with theirs! A BH using ONLY LLC can DOMINATE a Commando using any one of his weapons any day, especially after this nerf.

BH LLC accuracy is just as bad as the accuracy with CommandoFlammer, and the specials for the LLC miss PvP 95% of the time and have an insaine HAM cost. I recently shelved my MBH and have been thinking about going Commando. BH are NOT well rounded, in fact they are in a state right now where the only thing for a MBH to do is either PvP and get owned most of the time, or farm credits by doing the content lacking BH missions. I swear there is like 20 total scripts for BH missions. Not to mention that for same amount of money you can either TRY and do a player jedi mission for 150k or get 30 people together and try to do a NPC jedi mission. I remember when I played EQ the devs thought that it was more important to fix how doors opened in a couple places then it was to fix some of the game breaking bugs that they introduced in previous patched.
Regardless, Commando/BH/Smuggler are all pretty much in the same boat right now. Play what you want, and what makes you happy. As you can see from my sig that I took up TKA and Doc. I got so bored with being a BH that I started a second account and honestly I don't see myself going back to my BH anytime soon. I'm waiting for publish 7 before I drop BH and choose another path.

What's wrong with trying out new professions though? It's how you get to see the bigger picture.

I've done both Commando and BH and Commando has been better. I once had the notion to go back to BH because of all the weapon types but realized I have enough points to master another ranged profession that will compliment my Commando abilities. So I did that. Poor BH's don't even have enough to learn 3 entire trees in any other profession after they've mastered BH.

Yea, vs the skill points required BH is a waste. And I hope you have ALOT of stim b's you will be shocked at the HAM costs from firing your weapon. The LLC eats ham...the scatter does....oooh and wait till ya get into carbine. I've mastered commando back when the flamethrower did 95-110 dmg.. After the 2.5x dmg from melee I dropped it. I played BH for a while, and it is fun...but commando gives me more flexibility.

I love these guys jumping from profession to profession. If u read the different profession forums, u see people quitting becuz another profesion is better. I know two BH that became Commandos and love it compared to BH. I think you take the time to lern how to adapt to circumstances. Between armor changes, clothing changes, buffs and the new Chef foods, I think anyone who wants to can become a verydifficult opponent. It's not aklways greener in another profession
