# Professions: Carbineer
# Carbineer profession name fixes implemented (Correspondent Issue).

Why did that get fixed for them and we've received NOTHING? Their prof titles were only spelled incorrectly. Ours are completely unrelated to the line we've reached IV in.
How hard would that have been to simply change some text?
Here, I'll do it for you:

Field Tactics - Artilleryman (Change this to Grenadeer. YOU CAN DO EET!)

Heavy Weapons Support IV - Expert Commando (Change this to Artilleryman. Or leave it, it's not too bad.)

Flamethrower Specialization IV - Grenadier (K. This line has nothing to do with grenades. And you spelled it wrong. Just like you spelled Carbineer wrong. And please don't change it to Flamer. That's just wrong.)

Acid Rifle Specialization IV - Ordnance Manufacturer (o_O I know this is a hold-over from beta, but, contrary to popular opinion, we're not in beta anymore. I don't know what to tell you to change this to, other than FOOL, as the HAR is a complete joke.)

See? How hard was that? Please, at the very, very least, give us this.

Completly agree, you could have Pyro for the Flame line, not too sure about the Acid rifle line though.I hate going around with 'oradance manufacturer' above my head, people keep asking me to make them guns!

Flame line-Pyrotechnician

Field tactics-Grenadier, or Field commander.

Heavy weapons-Demolitions expert, or Heavy weapons Specialist.

HAR-Feces flinger

I tried to think what would go best with each of the lines...and this si what came out.

On the topic of things being wrong, if you look at a loading screen when you're coming into Corellia, it has a description of Selonians, with a picture of a Jawa.

That's just plain sloppy.

Already had a poll made by one of the correspondents months ago for suggested names.

I believe the winners were:

Field Tactics: Grenadier

Heavy Weapons: Demolitions Expert

Flamethrower: I'm not to sure but I think it was "Pyrotechnician" or something to that effect.

Acid Rifle: I forgot, I think originally "Chemical Warfare Expert" won but it was taken by Combat Medics. Bugger Sprayer would fit though.

grenedier actually fits for flamer4, look it up in the dictionary. pyrotechnician, i keep seeing someone lighting fireworks, or someone making fake explosions in movies

and i think the popular vote for acid rifle 4 was corrosives specialist, or something to that effect.

artilleryman would be best for heavy weapon support 4, as the heavy artillery is used in that line.

field tactics, i have no clue what should be used for that.

Change to Artilleryman; "Expert Commando" is cheap and cheesy..

But whatI find most befuddling and hilarious is the fact that the misspelled name actually had to make the Carbineer correspondant "issue" list before being fixed....

Carbineer being spelled wrong issues:

I used to be a carbineer, the whole way this came about was there were 3 different spellings for the name.

Carbinier was actually one of the spellings in the dictionary thata devmentioned as being correct.

Carbineer was the spelling thatwas preferred by players, and i'm not even sure if it's the correct spelling for the word.

We all just want conformity to the whole thing and got our way with Carbineer.

I like my flamethrower and dropped carbineer altogether

FIeld Tactics: Bomberman (hey, like Bomberman, we blow up on our own nades..)

Heavy Weapons Support: Kneeler (gotta kneel to miss with them...)

Flamethrower Specialization:Nerf maker (They yell Nerf don't they?)

Acid Rifle Specialization: Anti christ (No one but us commando zealots want this one fixed or replaced...)
